For the past year he was an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Pitlick grew up in the country, just west of Iowa City, Iowa. He met his wife Jaeda, an Omaha native, while they were both residents at Mayo Clinic. Jaeda is a hospitalist and primary care physician at UNMC. Dr. Pitlick is a passionate Iowa Hawkeye fan, which often clashes with his wife’s Husker fandom. In addition to his love of the Hawkeyes, Dr. Pitlick also enjoys golfing, hunting, spending time with his 3 older brothers and 9 nieces/nephews, and playing with his new dog, Ryder.
